 C-13 JackRabbit Supersonic Cargo Aircraft
What started as a project to create an aircraft that could keep up with our ConTrans supersonic troop transports and carry a few LAVs has ended with an aircraft slightly smaller than the C-17 and yet can fly 3 times as fast and has a radar cross section less then a modern fighter.Stealth features include a butterfly tail, stealth coatings and a specially shaped wing and angled fuselage. We have attained Mach 3 with the C-13 when empty, mach 2.88 can be sustained when loaded to full capacity. The range is unlimited with in flight refueling. There is a full size rear-loading ramp which is handy for loading and unloading vehicles and also allows paratroopers easy exit.(manufacturers suggestion *drop to below mach 1 before deploying paratroopers) Also should you need them there are 4 missile ports (2 forward facing 2 rear facing), you can mount AIM-9X or AIM-132 missles or any similar size weapon or counter measure in them for defense.
