UR-22 Dark Horizon
The UR-22 is a high altitude Unmanned aerial Reconnaissance vehicle designed to provide real-time information to commanders on the ground when a manned flight is too risky and a spy satellite would take too long to redirect. It can also be used in the event satellites are destroyed by meteors or hostile fire. Can be controlled by an operator or fly pre-programmed pattern.
Specifications
Crew: 0
Range 6,900 miles+ (in flight refuel capable)
Power Plant: 2 PD-M544 Turbofan engines
Service Ceiling: 84,000 feet+
Maximum Speed: High subsonic/580 mph
Size: about the same size as a U-2
Guidance: GPS/GLONASS Laser Line of Sight/Inertial if control lost.
Price: $62.5 million
RJ-202 Shadow
The RJ-202 is based upon the Phoenix Dynamix J-200 Business Jet with subtle performance upgrades, a package of sensors, and is capable of in-flight refueling (unlike the civilian model). It is intended to be used for intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR) but can also readily fill the general observation or range telemetry aircraft role which fit into but are not necessarily a part of ISTAR.
Specifications
Crew: 4
Passengers 2-4 max
Power Plant: (1) PD 2003-4X turbojet engine
Service Ceiling: 48,000+ feet
Maximum Speed: Mach 0.8
Countermeasure 1 IR Laser Missile Dazzler and Missile Plume detector
Low Price
$9.6 million
UR-7 SkySeeker & UM-7A SkyHunter Drone
The UR-7 SkySeeker and UM-7A SkyHunter are, respectively, the premier propeller driven Recon and Presidion Strike drones in the Phoenix Dynamix catalog. Equipped with the easy-to-maintain 225 Turboprop pusher engine and advanced cameras and communications equipment, these drones can both provide real time battlefield information while the SkyHunter can actually respond to threats with up to 5 hellfire missiles. The UM-7A can also be configured to drop leaflet bombs or other small bombs, while the UR-7 is limited to electronic payloads.
Specifications
Crew: 0 (1 operator in simulator)
Power Plant: (1) PD 225 Turboprop Pusher engine
Service Ceiling: 38,000+ feet
Maximum Speed: 380mph
Countermeasure 1 IR Laser Missile Dazzler and Missile Plume detector
Price UR-7 SkySeeker
$1.6 million
Price UM-7A SkyHunter armed with hellfire missiles and capable of drop tanks increasing range
$2 million
